Awww, You must really miss Grandpa!

I was getting ready to get wood from the porch with our wood satchel. Alena had the most sympathetic look on her face and said. Awww Grandma, You must really miss Grandpa!

A couple weeks later.....I was coming in with it full of wood, it is heavy, so I kind of struggle with it. Alena jumped up and said, Oh Grandma, could you use some help!?! And then she grabbed onto one of the handles and helped me slide it across the floor. So considerate and Such a sweetie! :)

Calls from Alena - Sleeping Kitty from Alaska

Alena calls me once in awhile for something to do while her mom is working. She is so entertaining and surprisingly holds a conversation well and she is only 4. She makes me laugh. The other day, I talked to her for around 14 minutes! In the conversation she was telling me how she loved her sleeping kitty from Alaska. (Terry Fiandaca, another Postmaster found for her). Alena was asking me all kinds of questions about it, I said I looked really hard to find her one. (That is how Terry knew she wanted one; I told everyone I was looking for a kitty). Alena said, Well Grandma, I guess she looked harder than you did! :) Like I said, you never know what she is going to say and you just have to laugh! Alena is such a cutie!
